Chicken Manchurian (Chinese)

Marination Ingredients:
250 grams breast fillet chopped in 1 inch squares.
1 table spoon cooking oil
1 table spoon corn flour
Half tea spoon each of sugar and Ajino Motto (Mono Sodium Glutamate)
¼ tea spoon salt

Gravy Ingredients:
Half cup tomato ketchup
2 table spoon corn flour
¼ cup sugar
1 table spoon chopped ginger
2 table spoon Rice vinegar
1 tea spoon red chilli powder
1 tea spoon Ajino Motto
1 table spoon chopped garlic
1 chopped green chilli
Red food colour

Procedure:
1) Fry the chicken cubes in 4 table spoon oil till it is crispy golden.
2) Pour half a cup of chicken stock or water and chopped green chillies over the chicken.
3) Fry chopped ginger and garlic in another pan and then pour the chicken with stock over it. Mix up the rest of the ingredients for the gravy in a bowl and pour it over the chicken. Mix some red food colour once the gravy is thick enough.

Note: (If you think that the gravy is not thick enough then mix some corn flour in a little water and pour that in the gravy while constantly stirring it).

Re: World Recipes
Tandoori Chicken (Indian)
Yield: 6-8 Servings

1 Onion, chopped
6 cloves Garlic, chopped
2 Tbsp Ginger, chopped
3 Tbsp Lemon juice
1 cup Plain yogurt
1 Tbsp Coriander, ground
1 tsp Cumin, ground
1 tsp Turmeric, ground
1 tsp Garam masala (Curry Powder)
1/4 tsp Mace, ground
1/4 tsp Nutmeg, ground
1/4 tsp Cinnamon, ground
1/4 tsp Cloves, ground
4 Tbsp Canola oil
2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/4 tsp Cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp Indian food color powder or paprika
6 Chicken legs
3 Chicken breasts, halved

To make marinade, place onions, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice into a blender and blend to a smooth paste. Put this mixture in a large bowl and thoroughly mix in all the other ingredients. Make three diagonal scores in each piece of chicken (you can leave the skin on or remove it). Then place the chicken in the marinade and mix to cover completely. Cover and place in refrigerator for 24 hours.

Grill the chicken, basting with the marinade as it cooks. Grill till fully cooked through (about 158 F).

Serve with lemon wedges and naan (Indian Bread).
