Yet another Bhai-product?

Salman Khan finds another protégé after his fallout with Himesh Reshammiya. He declares that music composer Wajid (who has sung the title song of Partner) will be his voice henceforth.

Salman Khan is known for playing mentor to his friends in the industry, and shepherding the careers of so many people. The entire industry knows how he mentored Himesh Reshammiya. Now, after an unpleasant parting of ways with Himesh, Sallu is now grooming the career of music director Wajid (of the Sajid-Wajid duo). He has now declared that Wajid will be his voice in all his films.

Wajid is on seventh heaven, since Salman singled him out to sing the title song for him in Partner. So, how did he choose him? An elated Wajid says, "I am proud to be the voice of Salmanbhai. We were at the music sittings of Partner and I was singing the song to explain how it should go. That's when bhai said that I should sing the song myself. As it is, I wanted to sing for my films but was waiting for the right time. bhai gave me all the confidence and that's how my first song `Do you want a partner' happened. After that I sang one more song for him in Partner and God Tussi Great Ho. Bhai takes keen interest in our work."

Meanwhile the title song of Partner is already a hit. "Yes," says Wajid. "And now we have started work on the Hindi remake of Pokhiri also. I will be singing a couple of songs in the film for Salmanbhai."

So, what does Sallu's ex-protégé Himesh Reshammiya have to say about Salman's newest voice? Says Himesh, "I have immense respect for both Sajid and Wajid as music directors and they have been phenomenon in their work so far. I have heard Wajid's voice. I think with Salmanbhai's support and his quality of voice, Wajid will work wonders for himself."
